Online directory of Taxi & Private Hire

Mylocaltaxi.co.uk was launched in October 2000 as a single reference point to assist in locating taxi and private hire companies in the UK. The directory of taxi and private hire companies enables visitors to find suitable transportation prior to arrival when visiting unfamiliar towns and cities for work or pleasure. This is a comprehensive directory of UK taxi and private hire companies. You will find local taxi information, telephone numbers, websites and much more.

Finding a taxi or private hire company using the directory is very easy. Once in the directory click on county of interest. This will display all towns within that county. Alternatively, to find a taxi or private hire company just enter the town or city of interest in the search box and click search. There is also an advanced search facility to assist in finding a taxi or cab in your chosen area.

The directory of taxi and private hire companies is also used as a reference point to source suitable suppliers for Corporate work throughout the country.  

As of 2011, mylocaltaxi.co.uk has undergone a complete overhaul in order to provide potential customers with more information about each company prior to making a decision on which taxi or private hire company to use.

Each company listing will show a minimum of Company Name, Town or City and Telephone Number.  Companies will have a choice of listing type allowing them to provide more information about themselves. All information listed is 'as supplied' by the companies themselves. 

To use the directory, click on the Directory menu option . Once in the directory, the easiest way to locate a company is to enter the town or city in the search box and click Search. There is also an advanced search option if required. Alternatively, click on the County of interest. This will display all towns or cities within the county. Click on the town of interest to see a list of taxi or private hire companies registered covering your requested Town or City.
