Mylocaltaxi has been online since 2000 as a directory of taxi and private hire companies. During this time, all listings have been free. The time has now come to change this approach and charge a nominal fee to advertise 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to a world wide audience.
3 listing types are available, Bronze @ £12.00 per annum, Silver @ £36.00 per annum and Gold @ £60 per annum with a 20% reduction for additional listings. Click Rates & Details for table of options.
During September 2011, a total change to the site has taken place. The site has been redesigned to allow much more functionality for both site visitors looking for transportation and more importantly, for companies to promote their business with much more information being displayed about the company depending on listing type taken.
In order to get the full benefit from Gold and Silver listings, it is recommended that companies have an email address and website. If you don't have one or the other, we can help you. Contact us for more information.
Whilst the changeover is taking place, a small sample of companies listed on the original site have been converted and continue to be listed with a note on their listing stating they have been converted. This is to ensure that site visitors are still able to locate a suitable taxi or private hire company in the town or city of interest to them.
A maximum of 5 Gold, 5 Silver and 5 Bronze listings will be displayed for any one town or city. When a company subscibes, companies currently listed for that particular town or city who were converted will be removed.
Listings will be displayed in the order Gold, Silver and Bronze. On a weekly basis, listing order within each type will change. Each company in each listing type will rotate so that each company associated with a town or city will appear at the top of their listing type at least once every 5 weeks. We believe this is unique to mylocaltaxi.
All towns and cities that had companies associated with them have been converted. If the town or city you would like to be listed under is not listed, let us know and it will be added to accomodate your listing.

Listing Request forms have been created to collect the required information applicable to the type of listing required. Once received, your listing will be created by us manually using the information you have provided. This is to ensure consistency throughout the database and will ensure searches return the correct results.
Below you will find links to the relevant form to subscribe. Once you have completed the form, you will be directed to a payment page. Our preferred payment method is paypal but if required, you can pay by cheque or bank to bank transfer. Details are given on the payment page. Please note, mylocaltaxi will donate 10 percent of your subscription fees to the charity Amelia Matters. You will get an acknowledgement of thanks from Lisa Hine, Director of the charity confirming receipt.
Prior to completing the form, please check availability for the town or city you wish to be listed on. Please remember, maximum of 5 Gold, 5 Silver and 5 Bronze listings for any town or city. Where converted listings are displayed, these can be ignored as they will be removed on receipt of your listing request.
